SCOPE OF WORK
SIE worked with Smithsonian Gardens to develop, design, fabricate, and install the exhibition Orchids: Hidden Stories of Groundbreaking Women. The exhibition at the Kogod Courtyard of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery highlighted the contributions of female horticulturists, scientists, and artists.
Orchids: Hidden Stories of Groundbreaking Women
The exhibition featured eight planters displaying orchids, graphics, and interpretive panels.
The exhibition included large-scale reproductions of botanical art and illustrations.
SIE designed, produced, and installed large-scale graphics of orchids on the columns in the Kogod Courtyard.
