Unbound at NMAI
Unbound: Narrative Art of the Plains celebrates the full expression of narrative art among Native nations of the Great Plains. The exhibition was on view at NMAI-DC between June 1, 2024, and January 20, 2026.
Scope of Work
After NMAI provided SIE with designs for the required exhibit elements, SIE produced twenty-five custom exhibit elements for the exhibit. This work involved the production of custom cases with slant decks (two of which were oversized), a custom ledger book display ledge, and custom pieces of in-case furniture. Additionally, SIE produced, delivered, and installed the exhibit cases.
