SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION TRAVELING EXHIBITION SERVICE (SITES)

SCOPE OF WORK

SIE worked with SITES to redevelop the existing Life in One Cubic Foot exhibition from the
National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) as a traveling exhibition. SIE designed and
fabricated the traveling version of the exhibition. This work involved developing and
producing three new freestanding interactives, a 3D model of a paraphronima amphipod,
and a bronze tactile model of a paraphronima eye. SIE also refurbished two cases, made
17 mounts for props, and designed ten custom icon illustrations for the interactives.
